I’ve stared at this blinking cursor long enough.

If you’re reading this, it means I finally hit publish. It also means I’ve finally built the thing I’ve been dreaming about for years…MADE Consulting. A business built on bold belief: that everything we create, from programs and partnerships to systems and stories, should be designed with purpose and aligned with a mission.

MADE stands for Mission-Aligned Design Excellence. It’s not just a clever acronym (though I love a good acronym); it’s a method. A lens. A promise.

I created MADE to help people and organizations ask better questions, map smarter strategies, and build ideas that actually work. Not just in theory, but in real life, with the real people they’re meant to serve. My work sits at the intersection of education, equity, sustainability, and innovation. My clients? Changemakers. Leaders. Visionaries. People who care deeply and want to get it right, but need clarity, structure, and a little spark to move from intention to impact.

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years as an educator, program director, community organizer, facilitator, singer, mom (as of just a few weeks ago!), and every one of them has shaped me for this moment. MADE is the culmination of all the lessons I’ve learned, and the ones I’m still learning every day.

This blog is where I’ll share some of that learning. Wins, flops, frameworks, messy drafts, and aha moments. I’ll write about design thinking, capacity building, intentional leadership, and what it means to do work that’s not just excellent, but evidence-based and mission-aligned. I’ll also pull back the curtain on what it’s like to build a business rooted in values and vision, because I believe we need more of those stories in the world. And, I’ll throw in some fun along the way!
